Dr. Lyla June will explore the ancient wisdom of Indigenous Regenerative Ecosystem Design (IRED) and its critical relevance to the work we are doing today in support of our agricultural system and broader climate work. Attendees will gain insights into the core values of IRED—relationality, reciprocity, respect, and reverence—and how these can come to life as we work to evolve our food system. This session will inspire a new way of seeing our food system, deeply challenging us to move beyond a mechanistic worldview that merely replaces conventional agriculture practices with "regenerative" ones. It advocates for a shift towards a living systems worldview that reflects our interconnectedness with all beings, deserving of respect and care.
