From Marketing to Movement Building: The Role of Our Industry in Driving Climate-Friendly Eating Habits
In light of the IPCC's assertion that climate-friendly eating can significantly benefit our planet, brands are presented with both an opportunity and a responsibility to encourage consumers towards food choices that support climate-positive outcomes. This session will explore the imperative to build awareness around climate-friendly options, what the research tells us about communicating with consumers about climate, and how companies are bringing this to life in their marketing. This will be an actionable session that explores strategies for accelerating climate-smart eating, from choice architecture and climate messaging (ranging from the overt to the subtle) to various approaches for integrating climate-smart ingredients.
