Wildfare, the provisions brand sourcing ancestral recipes and seeds from the sun-drenched lands of the Mediterranean, will join the Natural Products Expo West for its second year in a row to showcase a curation of some of its best products. Poised to redefine the pantry staple game with its unique take on the classics, Wildfare's presence at Expo West underscores its growing influence and dedication to celebrating the rich, culinary traditions of the Mediterranean, making it a must-visit for industry experts and food lovers looking to spice up their pantry selections. “Our shatta is simple. Based on our principles at Wildfare, we really let the earth, the elements and time do the work. The star of our shatta is the Kashmiri peppers from Azapli, blended with just a touch of vinegar and salt. By trusting the heritage of Mediterranean farming practices and the richness of the soil, we find our peppers develop to perfection. Making the hot sauce… well, in our opinion, pretty perfect,” said Wildfare creative and marketing director Melissa Clemente. Before launching the most exciting new Hot Sauce, Shatta, Wildfare meticulously tested this heritage recipe until they mastered the exact proportions to deliver a timeless and transformative blend of flavor and heat. As industry data has marked hot sauce on of the trendiest pantry products this year – ideal for a wide-range of recipes– trying the Authentic Shatta Hot Sauce is a can’t-miss Expo West agenda item for anyone attending. Comparable to other exotic hot sauces like gochujang or sriracha in complexity and richness, it’s an ideal match for everything and anything that needs a little kick! Adding a complex heat continues its evolution, with chiles from around the world taking off in every aisle — from chile-spiced snacks to spicy drinks and international condiments.
