What We Do
With BAR-U-EAT you're getting real people and real food. We committed ourselves to making a bar with ingredients you can see, taste, and know. We lightly roast oats, nuts, and seeds and combine them with the light, natural sweetness of Medjool dates and honey, and a touch of salt. The result — a deliciously sweet yet savory snack that tastes incredible, is both soft and crunchy and comes sealed in BPI-certified, plant-based compostable packaging.
Founded by childhood best friends Sam and Jason, and inspired by Sam’s time working as a guide in Iceland. We’re on a mission to make the best darn bar you’ll eat while having more fun together and less single-use plastic everywhere. We live in the mountains of Colorado, we love to get outdoors, have fun, and not take ourselves too seriously. We make all our bars and bites in our facility, just outside Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
As a value-driven business, we focus on simple organic ingredients, free of any oils, artificial sweeteners, or preservatives. People say we're granola, we invite you to try BAR-U-EAT and get a taste of what Granola Life is all about.
